"Live alone to evolve"---Quoted
Check out The Bet by Anton Chikov. The Bet is a brilliantly written short story about a banker and a young man who make a bet with each other based on capital punishment and whether the death penalty is better or worse than life in prison.

One must be compltely alone in one's investigation. Aloneness does not mean isolation, it doesnot mean one is withdrawn and has built a wall around oneself. Aloneness means that one is all one. -J Krishnamurthi
Solitude is the furnace of transformation. Without solitude we remain victims of our society and continue to be entangled in the illusions of the false self. —Henri J. M. Nouwen
It seemed to be a necessary ritual that he should prepare himself for sleep by meditating under the solemnity of the night sky... a mysterious transaction between the infinity of the soul and the infinity of the universe. -Victor Hugo
I live in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity. -Albert Einstein
Loneliness is the poverty of self; solitude is the richness of self. -May Sarton
The self-confidence of the warrior is not the self-confidence of the average man. The average man seeks certainty in the eyes of the onlooker and calls that self-confidence. The warrior seeks impeccability in his own eyes and calls that humbleness. The average man is hooked to his fellow men, while the warrior is hooked only to infinity. -Carlos Castaneda
Spiritual joys come only from solitude,
So the wise choose the bottom of the well,
For the darkness down there beats
The darkness up here.
He who follows at the heels of the world
Never saves his head.
- Rumi, Solitude
I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude. We are for the most part more lonely when we go abroad among men than when we stay in our chambers. -Henry David Thoreau

i love the first quote (by Krishnamurthi). I never think aloneness as "one is all one". Aloneness is not isolating urself from universe but to understand harmony between different entities with in the universe and to make a more powerful bond with them.
